My drive holds water after heavy rain. Will resin bound fix that?
In most cases yes, and it is a common question on the low lying ground around the Stour and the Allen. Resin bound is permeable, so water passes through the surface instead of running across it. What matters just as much is the base underneath, which is why we always dig a trial hole and check what we are working with before quoting.
What upkeep does a resin bound driveway need?
Very little. A brush over now and then and an occasional rinse with a hose or a low pressure wash keeps it looking new. There are no weeds to pull out of joints and no gravel to rake back into place. Looked after properly, a resin bound driveway will last fifteen to twenty years.
