Upgrade Your Home’s Curb Appeal With a Modern Resin Bound Driveway in Blandford
Local setting and history of Blandford
Blandford sits in the chalk valley of the River Stour, between the downland of Blandford Camp above the town, the Milldown nature reserve and the Portman estate parkland at Bryanston.
A brief history of Blandford
The Old House survives from the settlement that existed before the Great Fire. It provides a contrast with the coordinated Georgian rebuilding around the Market Place, church and neighbouring streets.

What we look for on a Blandford driveway
- Chalk with clay-with-flints on the downs. Chalk carries load well and drains freely, but the flinty clay capping the higher ground is slow and sticky. The two sit side by side around the town.
- Stour water meadows. Properties on the valley floor sit low beside the river, with a high water table through winter. A fully permeable build adds no run-off and needs no drainage consent.
- Estate and parkland trees. Bryanston and the surrounding estates carry veteran beech and lime, most of them protected. We hand dig inside root protection areas and build over roots.
- Long rural approaches. Many Blandford properties are reached by a private drive off a lane. Resin bound holds firm where loose gravel washes into the road every winter.
Where we work around Blandford
We install across Blandford, Bryanston, Pimperne, Charlton Marshall, Spetisbury and Winterborne Stickland, with our Poole office half an hour away.

Versatile Resin Bound Surfaces – Ideal for Patios, Paths, Driveways & Pool Surrounds
WHAT IS RESIN BOUND SURFACING?
Resin bound paving is a modern surfacing solution created by mixing natural stone aggregates with a high-performance resin binder. This produces a seamless, smooth, and visually appealing surface ideal for driveways, patios, and paths throughout Blandford and the surrounding countryside.
Key Advantages of Resin Bound Paving:
- Permeable & SuDS-Compliant: Resin bound paving allows rainwater to drain naturally through the surface, reducing run-off and helping protect surrounding ground, particularly important in areas near the River Stour.
- Durable & Crack-Resistant: The flexibility of resin bound surfaces helps prevent cracking caused by ground movement, seasonal temperature changes, and regular vehicle use.
- Low Maintenance: Resin bound driveways do not suffer from weed growth or loose stones. Simple sweeping and occasional gentle power washing keep them looking clean and well-maintained.
- Fully Bonded Surface: Aggregates are mixed with resin before installation, creating a solid, stable surface that remains secure under foot and vehicle traffic.
