Resin Bound Driveways in Maidenhead

Close to the river at Boulter’s Lock, Ray Mill Island and the roads running down to Maidenhead Bridge, you are on free draining Thames terrace gravels. Climb the hill towards Boyn Hill, Pinkneys Green and Furze Platt and the ground turns heavier and slower to shed water. What we look for on a Maidenhead driveway

• Riverside gravel bases. Older drives on the terrace gravels are often loose shingle that migrates onto the pavement. Bonding that stone into a resin matrix solves the problem permanently and usually reuses the existing base.
• Mature limes and horse chestnuts. The tree lined approaches around Cookham Road and Bath Road cause root heave that cracks rigid slabs. A flexible resin bound surface tolerates that movement without splitting.
